Birthday Princess

We had Allison's birthday party today! She insisted on wearing the Cinderella gown she got from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Mark so she really was the birthday princess. She put the dress on first thing and wore it all day and she's still wearing it at 4pm as I type. A few of her little friends from school came over and we played "Stick the Tail on the Donkey" and decorated birthday crowns with stickers and cotton balls. She opened some more presents from Grandma Joanie and Grandpa Jan, the highlight being a play tent. Thomas was fascinated with it as well, as you can see from the picture. It came with blankets and flashlights for 2, all set for having a slumber party. It was nice for her to be able to celebrate after feeling so lousy on her actual birthday. She recovered very quickly- we knew she was better when, at 5:30 am yesterday morning she woke up and was mumbling about her tummy feeling better. (She still had a slight fever so we gave her Tylenol, put her back to bed, and she slept until 8:45am!) Today she even talked about not wanting to "barf on her Cinderella dress". I swear, she cracks us up with things like that all day long! Here are some more pictures of the princess and her bro:

Did I mention her obsession with the Disney Princesses? She has it all- from action figures (you can change their clothes, even put on dainty shoes) to paper plates, and everything in between. Disney's got our number. Here's a snapshot of her play time set up on the table, complete with the My Little Pony Palace. All of this is safely out of reach of Thomas.

Glad to hear she's not barfing on her princesses! That's so funny. It was fun to see a closer pic of you. You look great- just the same!
