It's beggining to look a lot like Christmas...

We had a great time in the mountains for Thanksgiving. Both mornings we woke up to an inch or so of fresh snow. Since Allison adamently refuses to wear pants of any kind, she couldn't partake in the snow exploring. Thomas loved it, though! We managed a pretty hearty meal using the cabin's kitchen, too. The kids slept like champs up there- must be the altitude- and they loved being away from home. We made it home just in time, too, as snowstorms were moving in. Had we stayed another night we would've had mounds of snow to dig the cars out of. It's cold here now, really holiday-like weather. Perfect for decorating the house and laying low.

Allison and Tawny, hanging out.

Getting ready to chow!
